Dear Valued members,
We would like to share a few of the things we have been up to, but first would like to reach out to the community. Between reading council agendas, showing up to speak, maintaining and updating our website, being guest speakers, and finally the paper! Researching, writing, interviewing, formatting, and distributing, C.O.A.P. has become quite the full-time job, and we love it! However, as with any new venture, it depends on support from our community, and so far our papers have had amazing angel donors that have kept us going, but now we are reaching out to our ever-growing community. As you can imagine, unlike some other groups in the valley, we are not ripe for government grants :-)
While donations are greatly accepted, we also want to be able to offer a service or product for your financial help. We have multiple avenues to support.
a) Consider buying a monthly Substack subscription. More goodies for paid members coming soon!
b) We are offering a commission-based ad sales position at Westward Independent. If you are interested in an ad, or in selling ads, please reach out to us at sales@wwind.ca
c) Come hang with COAP for a burger and beer night - coming this September… stay tuned!
d) If you want some goodies for your money, we just launched a new shop !! Go browse the t-shirts, mugs, caps, and more at: https://coap.ca/shop/
