Happy Birthday Westward Independent!

A "thank you" in a month long celebration with our supporters

In the first of a series of “thank yous” to our paid members as the Westward Independent, as we put out our 12th birthday edition, we will be running a little giveaway. The Westward Independent was born out of our COAP iniative that began the winter of 2022, as we strove to reach a larger audience with local information on politics, and local stories, we decided a print edition would be worth our while. So a year ago we launched the paper, and currently are unable to keep up with demand, which shows there are folks who would like another voice in our beautiful valley.

We could never have made it one year without the donations, fundraisers and advertisers, as we can not depend on grants and other funding that “other groups” in the Valley do …..so…Thank you all so much!
