A small family farm in Kootenay, British Columbia, has been ordered by the CFIA to slaughter their entire flock of 400 ostriches-birds they’ve raised for decades and that aren’t even used for food. Join us as we uncover the devastating impact of this order and explore why their fight matters to all of us. 🎙️ Special Guests Include:
Steven Pelech, a renowned biochemist and President of Kinexus Bioinformatics Corporation, explaining the incredible potential of ostrich antibodies.
Chris Shaw, a neuroscientist and professor, breaking down the bigger picture of policy decisions on families and communities.
Jack McCloud, President of Land Keepers Society, standing up for farmers' rights and the fight for food security.
And more will make up the pannel
And hear directly from the family’s daughter as she shares their story, their struggle, and their hope to save their birds. This is more than a farm story-it’s about standing up to injustice, protecting livelihoods, and demanding better for all families. Tune in live and help us spread the word!
Sincerly,
Team COAP
Recall the same nonsense here in Cowichan when they ordered the water buffalo slaughtered during the "Mad Cow" epoch.
I don't recall that they found any mad buffalo. It's a good thing they didn't have PCR testing then.
Read the article at <https://substack.brownstone.org/cp/155097679> for a sense of the origin of the "Bird Flu" planning.
This reveals the widespread planning and implementation as discussed on last evening's podcast.
I presume that everyone who reads here has seen The Epoch Times' documentary "No Farmers, No Food."
The frustrating insight is that they use our money through taxation to drive us out of business. As noted, the Ostrich slaughter plan is just the test case to set the precedent.
I did not see mention of the BC regulation requiring registration of all properties with livestock. We have a resident raven (fourth fir tree from the fence), I wonder if he needs a registration and chip in case he has Bird Flu?
