The Last All Council meeting at Berkey’s Corner was well attended with many great questions asked to the candidates. We will list a few here if you do not want to watch the whole video, though, if voting, it is recommended to get a clearer picture of each candidate.
Tomorrow is early voting day at the Municipality! 8am-8pm
Bike lanes, forestry, taxes, and more, all depend on your LOCAL votes!

Question: “A recent motion to approve a dedicated bike lane on Sherman Road resulted in a 3–3 tie vote at council.
Because of a vacant seat on council, the tie meant the motion was automatically defeated. The project, part of North Cowichan’s broader Active Transportation goals, remains a point of discussion in the community.
Had you been on council at the time, would you have voted in favour of the Sherman Road bike lane project?”
Kemmler abstained, Bellis yes, Farmere yes, Hogg no, Lord yes.
